Democrats Immigration Protest Spark Chaos in L.A.

Los Angeles descended into chaos Friday night after ICE agents carried out coordinated immigration raids across the city. The operations triggered a series of violent protests, with demonstrators clashing with federal officers, blocking government vehicles, and attempting to halt arrests. The protests turned aggressive, leading to injuries and a wave of condemnation from conservative leaders.

Footage aired on Fox News showed protestors swarming ICE vehicles and resisting arrests. At least one individual was struck by an SUV during the confrontation. Tear gas and pepper spray were deployed to disperse crowds, while riot police responded to declared unlawful assemblies throughout the city.

Breitbart editor-in-chief Alex Marlow joined Laura Ingraham on “The Ingraham Angle” to criticize the Democratic response. Marlow pointed to Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, who expressed outrage over the Trump administration’s immigration enforcement. He accused Democrats of hating law and order, noting that illegal immigration has become ingrained in L.A.’s culture. Marlow called out Democrats for normalizing lawlessness and encouraging public outrage against lawful immigration actions.

Host Laura Ingraham questioned the political wisdom of Democratic leaders allowing such protests, suggesting the situation is escalating to deadly levels. Marlow responded by saying Democrats seem willing to let violence occur before reconsidering their stance. He described their continued opposition to immigration enforcement as reckless and dangerous.

One of the more high-profile arrests involved David Huerta, president of SEIU California, who was taken into custody for allegedly interfering with federal officers. Reports indicated he was injured during the altercation. The federal government stated the arrests were lawful and necessary, with warrants executed under court authorization.

As tensions rise, critics argue that left-leaning city officials are undermining the authority of federal immigration agencies. Calls are increasing for stronger federal resolve and local cooperation to restore order and enforce immigration law.
