Democrat Wants Royals to Pay Epstein Victims

Democrat Representative Ro Khanna (CA) is urging the British royal family to pay Jeffrey Epstein’s victims due to former Prince Andrew’s involvement in the matter.

Speaking to The i Paper, Khanna stated, “The Royal Family should be ashamed and horrified. They should be compensating each of the working class girls who were victims of the Epstein class.”

Khanna’s belief comes as the former prince recently gave up his Duke of York title amid reports of his relationship with Epstein. “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family,” an October statement released by the former prince read. “I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first. I stand by my decision five years ago to stand back from public life.”

“With His Majesty’s agreement, we feel I must now go a step further,” the statement continued. “I will therefore no longer use my title or the honours which have been conferred upon me. As I have said previously, I vigorously deny the accusations against me.”

Britain’s Defense Secretary John Healey later shared that the government is “looking now at the one remaining position he has, which is the honorary vice admiral position, and we’ve got a process underway for that.” Healey told the BBC that the move is “right” and is one “the king has indicated we should take, and we’re working on that at the moment.”
