Defense Sec. Austin’s Doctors Consider Additional Care

White House National Security spokesman John Kirby announced over the weekend that U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin’s doctors are considering providing additional care.

“We’ll see, you know, when he can be released, but obviously they still feel like he may need some additional care,” Kirby said.

“Part of that is just physical therapy.”

Kirby said “there is routine regular communication” between President Joe Biden and Austin.

Austin reportedly remains hospitalized without a release date and is “actively involved and engaged.”
