The apprehension of Chinese illegal immigrants is up more than 1,400% since 2021, according to a report from America First Policy Institute.
There have also been at least 1.8 million “gotaways,” the report noted.
National Correspondent for Fox News Griff Jenkins shared a video on X of a large group of Chinese migrants in Jacumba, California.

“That’s up more than 4,000% over all of fiscal year 2021, when only 450 Chinese were encountered,” he noted.
Tennessee Representative Mark Green (R-TN), the House Homeland Security Committee Chairman, shared that the migrants may be a security threat.
“Our Committee has been informed that some of these Chinese nationals are affiliated with the People’s Liberation Army and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)—and those are just the ones we’ve been able to vet,” he wrote on social media.
“As the CCP works to undermine and infiltrate our institutions and even our military, Secretary Mayorkas has made it clear to the entire world that our borders are wide-open. This is simply unsustainable, and the national security risks are massive.”
