In a recent interview released with broadcaster Radio-Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he thinks about stepping down from his position “every day.”
“I could not be the man I am and abandon the fight at this point,” Trudeau said during the interview. “I think about quitting every day. It’s a crazy job I’m doing, making the personal sacrifices.”
According to The Gateway Pundit, Trudeau has been down in the polls since 2022 as conservatives 36.0% vote intention against the ruling liberals with just 21.0%.
“Needless to say, he plans to stay on through another election, even though growing questions about his political future have arisen,” the outlet reported.
“Speculation in political circles is rampant that Mr. Trudeau may be eyeing the exit, and some allies have publicly suggested it’s time for him to leave.”
