Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) launched a gubernatorial bid for Tennessee.
“In his first six months, President Trump has made historic strides in Making America Great Again, but as he sends power back to the states, he’s going to need strong conservative governors who can bring that revolution home. I’m running to serve as Tennessee’s next governor to ensure Tennessee is America’s conservative leader,” Blackburn said. “I’m ready to deliver the kind of conservative leadership that will ensure our state is America’s conservative leader for this generation and the next, and I would be honored to have your support.”
In her announcement video, Blackburn declared that “Trump is back” and “America is blessed,” noting that Tennessee is “better than ever.”
“Tennessee is the greatest place in the world to rear a family and make a life and a living, and together, we can make our great state even better,” she said. “We’ll make Tennessee America’s number one, job-creating, energy-producing powerhouse. We’ll deliver a world-class education for our children by empowering parents, not the deep state.”
The senator further declared that the state will deport illegal immigrants, honor the Constitution, and preserve life.
“And we’ll define our boys and girls the way God made them,” Blackburn said, adding, “And I’m ready to deliver the kind of conservative leadership that will ensure our state is America’s conservative leader for this generation and the next.”
Blackburn was a key figure in helping to pass President Trump’s “Big, Beautiful Bill.”
“The One Big Beautiful Bill Act prevents the largest tax hike in American history and secures the largest tax cut ever for individuals and families who endured four years of crushing inflation and reckless spending,” she said of the bill last month. We are investing in America, cracking down on illegal immigration, and giving American families relief from Joe Biden’s failed economic agenda.”
