Biden Cuts Deportations of Illegals by More Than 90%

The Biden administration has cut the number of illegal immigrants being deported from towns across the US by more than 90%.

QUICK FACTS:
  • President Joe Biden has cut deportations of illegal aliens drastically in heavily populated areas across the US.
  • Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) issued “sanctuary country” orders two times last year in an effort to ensure millions of illegal immigrants were not eligible for arrest and deportation back to their country.
  • Public records from the Center for Immigration Studies revealed that the current administration has reduced deportations of illegals in all but two of the nation’s most populated counties.
  • Most notably, Biden’s DHS eliminated deportations by more than 90 percent in four of the highest volume counties in the US, including Gwinnett County, Georgia, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, Bergen County, New Jersey, and Kankakee County, Illinois.
  • The “orders” issued by the president are now being challenged in court.
ARIZONA GOV. DOUG DUCEY’S LAWSUIT AGAINST THE BIDEN ADMIN. FOR NEGLECTING THE BORDER:

“Indeed, the crisis at the southern border is characterized by a massive, multifold influx of migrants, drugs, and crime that only continues to increase alongside the federal government’s neglect,” the lawsuit said.

BACKGROUND:
  • In recent months, Arizona Republican Governor Doug Ducey ordered hundreds of double-stacked shipping containers to be placed at the border in an attempt to block entry into the US.
  • However, objections by the federal government has paused production of the containers over the past few days.
  • The U.S. Forest Service and the Bureau of Reclamation told Arizona construction on the land is unlawful and has to come to an end.
  • “Arizona is going to do the job that Joe Biden refuses to do — secure the border in any way we can,” Ducey said last month. “We’re not backing down.”
  • The governor argued the container walls were necessary after the record influx of migrants seen passing through the country since Biden took office in 2021.
