President Joe Biden referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as “Vice President Trump” during Thursday’s press conference.
The error comes as many media personalities and Democrats have openly called for Biden to end his reelection campaign.
Responding to a question about Harris, Biden said, “Look, I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president if I didn’t think she was not qualified to be president. So, let’s start there.”
Donald Trump mocked Biden’s error on TruthSocial.
“Crooked Joe begins his ‘Big Boy’ Press Conference with, ‘I wouldn’t have picked Vice President Trump to be vice president, though I think she was not qualified to be president.’ Great job, Joe!” he wrote.
The error follows Biden calling Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky “President Putin” during a recent NATO summit.
“And now I want to hand it over to the President of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin,” Biden declared.
