Alligator Alcatraz Criminal Illegals Exposed by Florida GOP

The Florida Republican Party confirmed Monday that the most dangerous criminal illegal immigrants captured in the state are being sent to Alligator Alcatraz, the new detention facility deep in the Everglades. According to a press release, these detainees include individuals convicted of the most violent crimes — including homicide, rape, child sex abuse, and aggravated assault.

Citing information released by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Florida GOP pointed to ICE’s recent roundup of illegal aliens with extensive criminal records. DHS stated that these are “the types of violent criminal illegal aliens who could end up being detained at Alligator Alcatraz.”

The GOP credited strong leadership from President Donald Trump, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and Attorney General Ashley Moody for removing these threats from communities. Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power said, “Thanks to the leadership of President Trump, Governor DeSantis, and Attorney General Uthmeier, these monsters are off our streets.”

Power emphasized that Alligator Alcatraz represents more than just a facility—it symbolizes Florida’s stance on law and order. “It’s already doing what it was built to do: help hold and remove violent predators who have no place in our state,” he stated.

The party also launched a campaign exposing the reality of illegal immigration, countering left-wing narratives portraying detainees as innocent. The campaign shares mugshots and crime records of arrested individuals, showing a stark contrast to claims of targeting harmless migrants.

During his visit to Alligator Alcatraz last week, President Trump blamed the Biden administration’s open border policies for the surge of violent illegals. “This is all because of an open border policy, where 25 million people from all over the world, from prisons all over the world, [came] for no reason whatsoever,” he said, calling the prior administration “radical left” and “lunatic.”

Trump highlighted that under his previous leadership, the U.S. had a “very powerful border” — a system dismantled, he said, by the Biden administration on day one.
