Aaron Rodgers: Transgender Athletes in Women’s Sports ‘Anti-Woman’

NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers has publicly criticized the inclusion of transgender women in women’s sports, labeling the movement as “anti-woman.” During a recent appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rodgers expressed concerns about the fairness and integrity of women’s athletics.

Rodgers highlighted the physical advantages that biological males possess over females, stating, “You’re not seeing trans men dominating anything; it’s because there’s a biological difference.” He argued that allowing transgender women to compete against biological females undermines the principles of fair competition.

The quarterback also criticized societal pressures that discourage individuals from questioning the inclusion of transgender athletes in women’s sports. He noted that people are often told not to conduct their own research and to “trust the experts,” which he believes stifles open discussion on the issue.

Rodgers’ comments align with a growing number of athletes and public figures who have voiced opposition to transgender women competing in female sports categories. The debate centers around concerns that biological differences may provide unfair advantages, potentially compromising the integrity of women’s sports.

In February 2025, President Donald Trump signed Executive Order 14201, titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports,” which aims to prohibit transgender women from participating in female sports teams at federally funded institutions. The order has sparked legal debates and varying responses from educational and athletic organizations across the country.
