The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, threatened President Trump and the United States.
“The Ashura-loving nation of Iran does not fear your paper threats. Even those greater than you could not eliminate the Iranian nation. Watch out for yourself—lest you be eliminated!” he wrote on X. In a subsequent post, Larijani reiterated, “The Ashura-loving Iranian people do not fear your hollow threats; for those greater than you have failed to erase it… So beware lest you be the ones to vanish.”
Larijani’s comments came in response to Trump declaring on Truth Social that Iran will be “hit by the United States of America TWENTY TIMES HARDER than they have been hit thus far” if it “does anything that stops the flow of Oil within the Strait of Hormuz.”
“Additionally, we will take out easily destroyable targets that will make it virtually impossible for Iran to ever be built back, as a Nation, again — Death, Fire, and Fury will reign upon them — But I hope, and pray, that it does not happen!” Trump continued. “This is a gift from the United States of America to China, and all of those Nations that heavily use the Hormuz Strait. Hopefully, it is a gesture that will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
President Trump previously warned Iran that he will eliminate the country if it follows through on any of its threats to assassinate him. Speaking to News Nation’s Katie Pavlich, President Trump said, “Anything ever happens, the whole country is going to get blown up. I would absolutely hit them so hard. But I have very firm instructions.”
“A president has to defend a president,” he said. “Like, if I were here, and they were making that threat to somebody even, not even a president, but somebody, like they did with me, I would absolutely hit them so hard.” President Trump reiterated that he has “very firm instructions—anything happens, they’re going to wipe them off the face of this Earth.”
