Man Hangs Onto Cars on Sacramento Boulevard

Shocking footage emerged Friday showing a man clinging to multiple moving vehicles as they traveled down a four-lane boulevard in Sacramento, California.

The video, reportedly captured Wednesday by a passerby, shows the man hanging onto at least two separate vehicles — including one that continued driving down the street at an estimated 40 miles per hour.

In the first clip, the man is seen gripping a gap near the hood of a white sedan, his feet scrambling against the pavement as he attempts to keep up with the moving car. The driver filming the incident can be heard shouting in disbelief as the chaotic scene unfolds.

“What’s going on?” the man behind the camera yells. “What the heck is going on here?”

The white sedan does not appear to slow down as the man struggles to maintain his grip. At one point, his pants begin slipping as he continues running alongside the vehicle, narrowly avoiding what could have been a serious injury had he fallen onto the roadway.

The driver recording the video calls out again, asking, “You cool? What’s going on?”

Later footage shows the same man clinging to the side of a dark SUV. In another moment, he appears to be hanging from the hood area near the rear of the vehicle as it continues moving down the boulevard.

Local police told area outlets that the man was eventually taken into custody. Authorities confirmed he had multiple outstanding warrants at the time of his arrest.
