Paxton Launches Tip Line to Protect Women’s Spaces

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched a tip line to stop state entities from allowing biological men in women’s spaces. Under the Texas Women’s Privacy Act, state agencies, schools, and other entities must use biological-sex-based bathrooms. Those who violate the policy face a $25,000 violation and $125,000 fines for subsequent violations.

Paxton’s office created a complaint form to address violations. “If you believe a political subdivision or state agency has violated SB 8 since it became effective on December 4, 2025, and you have fulfilled the complaint and notice requirement found in Texas Government Code section 3002.102, you may file a complaint below,” the form explains.

“The political subdivision or state agency is required to take every reasonable step to ensure an individual of one sex does not enter the private space of the opposite sex,” a press release from Paxton’s office states.

“The Texas Women’s Privacy Act was passed to ensure that women and girls in Texas are protected from mentally ill men wanting to violate their basic right to privacy in places like restrooms and locker rooms,” said Attorney General Paxton. “It’s absolute insanity that action like this is even needed, but unfortunately in the day and age of radical leftism, it is.”

“I encourage anyone who believes a state agency or political subdivision has violated SB 8 to submit a complaint via the form on my website,” Paxton added. “Together, we will uproot and bring justice to any state agency or political subdivision that opens the door for men to violate women’s privacy, dignity, and safety.”
