Tulsi Gabbard Accuses Obama Team of Anti-Trump Plot

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has called for full accountability and prosecution of Obama-era officials involved in what she described as a “treasonous conspiracy” to undermine President Donald Trump following the 2016 election. In a revealing segment on Fox & Friends, Gabbard accused former President Barack Obama and his top intelligence officials of orchestrating a deliberate campaign to fabricate claims of Russian interference after Trump’s historic victory.

Gabbard explained that prior to and immediately after the 2016 election, U.S. intelligence agencies had assessed that Russia lacked the capability or intent to affect the election’s outcome. “The intelligence community consistently assessed that Russia did not try to hack the election,” Gabbard said. She revealed that a President’s Daily Brief reflecting this conclusion was prepared but abruptly pulled hours before it was due to be seen by the president.

The day after the suppressed briefing, President Obama reportedly convened a secret National Security Council meeting. According to Gabbard, the result was a coordinated effort to rewrite the intelligence narrative—directing agencies to prepare a report claiming that Russia had in fact influenced the election. Gabbard said this manufactured intelligence served as the foundation for the “Russia collusion” narrative that fueled years of investigations, lawsuits, and media smears against Trump and his associates.

She described the effort as “a coup,” arguing it was intended to “usurp President Trump and subvert the will of the American people.” Gabbard declared that “there must be accountability” for those involved, emphasizing the threat this conspiracy posed to America’s democratic foundations.

On Friday, Gabbard called for a full criminal investigation into those responsible for engineering the false intelligence and launching what she labeled a politically motivated operation to discredit and delegitimize President Trump.
