Beautiful Bill Sparks Economic Boom, Vance Says

With the passage of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, the Trump administration launched a victory tour in Pennsylvania, highlighting economic wins, border security gains, and a renewed commitment to American workers. Vice President J.D. Vance spoke to a packed crowd at Don’s Machine Shop in Luzerne County, energizing the base and doubling down on promises fulfilled.

Edward X. Young, a supporter from New Jersey who has attended over 100 Trump events, made the trip to hear Vance speak solo for the first time. Young expressed gratitude that key provisions survived negotiations. “It’s a nine — maybe not a 10 — but good stuff will come later,” he said.

The bill reinstates work requirements for able-bodied adults without dependents and eliminates federal benefits for illegal aliens. While critics argue it reduces the safety net, supporters like Young see it as essential to curbing government waste and reinforcing law and order. He praised the continuation of Trump’s tax cuts, protections for overtime pay, and renewed focus on border security.

Before Vance’s remarks, Small Business Administration head Kelly Loeffler praised the bill as “rocket fuel for small businesses,” predicting it will create 1 million jobs and inject $750 billion into the economy. She emphasized the importance of American grit and thanked Don’s Machine Shop for hosting the event.

Vance, drawing a personal connection to the location, detailed how the bill delivers on promises: shutting down the southern border, halting fentanyl trafficking, protecting American jobs, and cutting taxes on overtime and tips. He also emphasized promoting skilled trades over college debt and expanding energy independence through domestic drilling.

Framing the bill as part of a larger mission, Vance said it’s about giving the next generation a better future — one built on hard work, opportunity, and American values.
