Leavitt Reveals Truth Behind Trump’s Medical Report

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt responded decisively to media speculation about President Trump’s swollen ankles and bruised hand. She emphasized the issue is benign and well-managed, quoting recent test results and the physician’s assessment on July 17.

Leavitt told reporters that President Trump experienced “mild swelling in his lower legs,” prompting a precautionary evaluation by the White House medical team. Following comprehensive examinations, including bilateral lower extremity vascular tests and venous doppler ultrasounds, the president was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common and treatable condition.

Leavitt assured the press that there was no evidence of deep vein thrombosis or arterial disease, and all lab testing “came back within normal limits.” Leavitt also addressed concerns over visible bruising on Trump’s right hand. She said it resulted from “frequent handshaking” and the use of aspirin as part of the president’s cardiovascular prevention regimen, described as a “benign side effect.”

To emphasize urgency and transparency, she shared a note from the president’s personal physician. The statement underlined that President Trump remains in “excellent health” despite these minor issues.

This update arrives less than a month after Trump received a clean bill of health in April, underlining ongoing attention to his medical fitness . Conservative circles emphasize the importance of a strong, healthy leader, and Leavitt’s presentation is being viewed as a strong move to counter health-related political attacks.
