Biden Border Policy Disaster, Mother Murdered

Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) issued a stark warning about the consequences of former President Joe Biden’s border policy and lax immigration approach following the murder of a South Carolina woman allegedly committed by six illegal aliens. Norman emphasized that the threat posed by unchecked illegal immigration now reaches into every community across the country.

The victim, Larisha Thompson, was the mother of two young children. She was fatally shot in a random attack while driving to meet friends in Rock Hill in May. Authorities charged six Honduran nationals, all in the country illegally, with her murder. Text messages exchanged between the suspects after the crime described the attack and how they left her body inside her car.

Norman told Fox News that “two children will not have a mother to come home to,” stressing that such violence can strike anywhere in America. He cited other cases across the country involving women targeted by illegal aliens and criticized Biden for enabling these threats by leaving the border open to criminals from more than 160 countries. Norman contrasted that with recent security improvements, crediting President Donald Trump’s administration for restoring order.

Norman described Biden’s approach as reckless and intentional, asserting that Democrats have yet to condemn the policies that opened the border. “You wouldn’t open your house up like that,” he said. He also pointed to ongoing fears over unknown individuals who crossed into the U.S. illegally under the previous administration.

Federal authorities confirmed that many such individuals are being deported, but Norman warned the danger remains. “How many more deaths do we have to have that are just so senseless?” he asked. The Department of Homeland Security also reported the recent arrest of 11 Iranian nationals, some illegally present in the U.S., during the same weekend President Trump ordered targeted strikes on Iranian nuclear sites.

The border remains a central issue in the national debate over law, order, and national security. Norman’s comments highlight continued Republican efforts to hold Democrats accountable for policies that they argue have led to tragic and preventable crimes.
