President Donald Trump offered strong support for Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow’s new book, Breaking the Law: Exposing the Weaponization of America’s Legal System Against Donald Trump. The investigative exposé uncovers the lawfare strategies used to undermine President Trump and reshape U.S. politics through judicial manipulation.
In a meeting with Marlow in the Oval Office, President Trump called the book “a must read,” condemning widespread judicial corruption. “Cases are rigged left and right. Judge shopping is rampant at levels never seen before,” Trump said. “And the radical left is using this, their final weapon, to take down America.”
Marlow described the book as a culmination of a year-long investigation into how the left has built a powerful legal “superstructure” targeting conservatives. He stated that Trump’s endorsement holds unique weight, given that the former president remains the primary target of lawfare. “No one knows the subject better than he does,” Marlow added.
Published by Threshold Editions, the book promises to name individuals and reveal tactics behind politicized prosecutions. Marlow aims to provide a roadmap for how conservatives can respond to what he identifies as the most significant internal threat to America’s constitutional system. He asserts that the legal system is being repurposed to suppress political opposition and dismantle the conservative movement.
The release follows a series of legal actions against President Trump during and after his first term, which Marlow argues were coordinated efforts to prevent his return to power. Trump himself has repeatedly called the prosecutions a “witch hunt” orchestrated by Democrat-aligned institutions. The book aligns with that claim, detailing case-by-case breakdowns, exposing judge and prosecutor networks, and linking their actions to broader political objectives.
Prominent conservatives have already praised Marlow’s work. Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute, called Marlow a fearless investigator. Previous books in Marlow’s Breaking series earned endorsements from conservative figures including Tucker Carlson and Mark Levin.
Breaking the Law is expected to galvanize public awareness of legal overreach and energize efforts to reform America’s judicial institutions. It hits shelves soon through Simon & Schuster’s conservative imprint, with early demand suggesting it could be Marlow’s third New York Times bestseller.
