Comedian Jerry Seinfeld faced an anti-Israel heckler while leaving a New York Knicks game. The protester accused him of supporting “the genocide of babies in Gaza.” Seinfeld responded by laughing and saying, “Only you,” before entering his vehicle.
The incident was captured on video and shared by the Palestinian Assembly for Liberation. The heckler continued shouting, calling Seinfeld a “rabid f—ing dog.” Seinfeld remained composed and did not engage further.
Seinfeld has been openly supportive of Israel, especially following the October 7 Hamas attacks. He joined over 2,000 entertainment industry leaders in signing a letter backing Israel’s right to defend itself. The letter warned against misinformation campaigns and emphasized the desire for peace between Israelis and Palestinians.
Part of the letter read: “As Israel takes the necessary steps to defend its citizens in the coming days and weeks, social media will be overrun by an orchestrated misinformation campaign spearheaded by Iran. We urge everyone to remember the horrific images that came out of Israel and to not amplify or fall for their propaganda.”
This is not the first time Seinfeld has encountered anti-Israel protesters. He has faced similar disruptions during performances in Australia and at Duke University. In each case, Seinfeld has addressed the interruptions with humor and maintained his support for Israel.
