April 30 marked President Donald Trump’s first 100 days back in office, and his administration has already begun to reverse years of damage. Among the most significant accomplishments is Attorney General Pam Bondi’s rapid transformation of the Department of Justice, making her tenure one of the most consequential in modern history.
Attorney General Bondi inherited a DOJ plagued by left-wing activism. From political prosecutions related to January 6 to the neglect of border enforcement, the department had lost public trust. Bondi immediately set out to restore the mission of the DOJ: uphold justice and defend the Constitution. Her agenda focused on ending lawfare, punishing criminal activity, and protecting the rights of American citizens.
One of Bondi’s first major moves was ending remote work policies and demanding DOJ attorneys support the duly elected president’s policy agenda. This led to a wave of resignations among bureaucrats hostile to President Trump’s vision. Her office also purged employees involved in politically motivated cases, such as members of Special Counsel Jack Smith’s team.
Bondi has also advanced President Trump’s border security goals. Her “Total Elimination of Cartels” memo reoriented DOJ priorities to target cartels, traffickers, and sanctuary jurisdictions. Under her leadership, federal prosecutors have seized millions in narcotics and arrested key cartel leaders. She also took unprecedented action by arresting state judges who obstructed federal immigration enforcement.
In addition to law enforcement, Bondi created task forces addressing key issues including anti-Christian bias, Second Amendment rights, and transgender policies targeting children. Her DOJ sued states violating Trump’s executive orders, such as Maine’s education department for refusing to comply with bans on transgender athletes in girls’ sports.
Bondi’s public presence has been instrumental in rebuilding trust. Unlike previous administrations that concealed politicization, Bondi has been transparent, vocal, and aligned with the values of American families. With the full backing of President Trump, her first 100 days have laid the groundwork for lasting change.
