Biden Doctor Cover-Up Cognitive Decline Probe Launched

House Republicans are preparing to question Dr. Kevin O’Connor, President Joe Biden’s longtime personal physician, over what they allege was a coordinated effort to conceal the president’s cognitive decline during his time in office. The investigation, spearheaded by Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX), aims to uncover whether the White House doctor played a role in maintaining the illusion of Biden’s mental fitness.

Jackson, a former White House physician who now chairs the House Intelligence Committee’s subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations, stated O’Connor will “absolutely” be implicated. “He would do or say anything to cover up and protect that family,” Jackson said, claiming O’Connor may have administered a range of medications to manage Biden’s alleged decline.

Video footage from 2024 showing Biden struggling during public remarks has fueled Republican concerns. Critics point to incidents of confusion and verbal missteps as evidence of diminished capacity.

Despite these allegations, Democrats maintain that no cover-up took place. In January, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer denied any deception, insisting that party leaders were transparent about Biden’s health.

House Republicans are now examining whether Biden’s presidency functioned as a “shadow presidency,” raising questions about who was truly in control during critical moments of his administration. Jackson noted that the committee intends to bring in additional doctors and medical professionals who may have evaluated the president for conditions such as Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease.

While Biden was deemed “fit for duty” following a 2023 physical exam, Republicans remain skeptical. That exam included the removal of lesions from his chest but did not mention any cognitive assessments. Questions intensified in March 2025 when the Heritage Foundation reported that a majority of Biden’s official documents were signed with an autopen—a mechanical device used to replicate signatures—raising further speculation about his direct involvement in presidential duties.

Adding to the scrutiny, CBS News reporter Jan Crawford recently named Biden’s cognitive decline as the most underreported story of 2024. Crawford criticized the mainstream media for failing to confront the issue, despite growing public concern and mounting evidence.

The House panel has not confirmed a formal hearing date, but sources indicate preparations are underway to launch an extensive probe into what could become a major political scandal with implications for national leadership transparency.
