Trump to Pardon Ex-Biden Associate: Report

President Donald Trump is reportedly planning to issue a pardon to former Hunter Biden associate Devon Archer.

The New York Post reports that Trump informed Archer of his intention to issue a full pardon during the NCAA wrestling championship.

“He’s getting a full pardon,” Trump shared with Miranda Devine of the New York Post. Trump stated that the Bidens “destroyed [Archer] like they tried to destroy a lot of people.”

Trump further described Archer as an “anti-Biden person” due to his role in exposing the corruption.

“I want to extend my deepest thanks to President Trump,” Archer said. “I am grateful to the president for recognizing that I was the victim of a convoluted lawfare effort intended to destroy and silence me.”

“Like so many people, my life was devastated by the Biden family’s selfish disregard for the truth and for the peace of mind and happiness of others. The Bidens talk about justice, but they don’t mean it,” he explained. “I am grateful that the American people are now well aware of this reality.”

Archer was convicted of fraud in 2018. While his conviction was later thrown out, it was reinstated on appeal. Archer’s conviction was sentenced to a year in prison in 2022, although it was overturned on a technicality and was scheduled for resentencing later this year.

Hunter Biden’s former business partner became a whistleblower and played a critical role in the House GOP’s impeachment inquiry into former President Joe Biden’s role in foreign business dealings. Archer stated that he was aware of at least 20 instances where then-Vice President Biden was on speakerphone during multiple gatherings with Hunter’s business associates and friends.
