New Pennsylvania Voters Registering Republican

More Republicans than Democrats registered to vote in July, according to a report from Axios.

A spokesperson for the Pennsylvania Department of State told the outlet that 19,127 people registered as Republicans, while 17,495 registered as Democrats.

Republicans have outpaced Democrats in voter registrations for the entire year, the report added, explaining that 94,603 people registered as Republicans while Democrats have registered 87,325 people.

Democrats still dominate the state overall, with 3.9 million registered voters compared to Republicans’ 3.5 million.

Voter registrations come as the Trump campaign announced SwampTheVoteUSA.com, an effort that RNC Chairman Michael Whatley believes will “make it faster, easier, and more secure than ever for patriots in the Keystone State to deliver their mail ballots for President Trump.”

“This is a crucial, cutting-edge development in our sophisticated ground game, which will help deliver President Trump back to the White House and save America,” he said.

Recent polls have shown Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris in Pennsylvania, with the former president receiving 51% of the vote compared to Harris’ 49%.

“A new survey finds 49% of voters support former President Donald Trump, and 48% support Vice President Kamala Harris for president in the Keystone state,” reports Emerson. “With undecided voters’ support allocated, Trump extends to a two-point lead, 51% to 49%.”
