Donald Trump’s son, Barron, will represent Florida at the Republican National Convention (RNC) in July as an at-large state delegate.
Barron is 18 years old.
Eric Trump, Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany Boulos were also chosen to be state delegates from Florida.
Kimberly Guilfoyle, fiancé of Donald Trump Jr., and Tiffany’s husband, Michael Boulos, were also chosen as at-large delegates.
A Trump campaign official told Politico that Barron is “very interested in our nation’s political process.”
Evan Power, chair of the Republican Party of Florida, said, “We are fortunate to have a great group of grassroots leaders, elected officials, and members of the Trump family working together as part of the Florida delegation to the 2024 Republican National Convention.”
Trump was recently permitted to attend Barron’s high school graduation of his son.
“I don’t think the May 17 date is a problem,” Judge Juan Merchan told the court.
The judge previously recognized Trump’s request to attend the graduation but delayed his decision on the matter.
Merchan said at the time that Trump’s attendance at Barron’s graduation “really depends on if we are on time and where we are in the trial.”
