A Malaysian doctor shared an apology on social media after he pushed the COVID-19 vaccines.
Dr. Syafiq Nordin wrote that he was “saddened” by his role in promoting Pfizer’s vaccine.
“In light of the recent news about Pfizer, a weakness in the industry, which I am part of,” he wrote, according to an English translation of the post. “I feel saddened because, before meeting Dr. Razin Jaafar, there were many mistakes in the medical advice I provided, especially concerning COVID.”
He shared that while a “mass vaccination program” initially appeared to be the “best way” to provide health services, he regrets the “mistakes” he made in promoting an experimental vaccine that has now been linked to numerous health concerns.”
Nordin received three Pfizer vaccines himself.
“Honestly, I am incapable of assisting financially should complications occur,” he added, noting that he will turn to more “holistic medical advice” moving forward.
Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson recently demanded that doctors apologize for recommending the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I think what’s so interesting is that doctors who clearly can read, I mean they’re literate by definition, they’re not stupid by definition, you hope, I think that’s true, they’re smart,” Carlson said.
“Look at the evidence and fundamentally everything they said about the vax and it has hurt a lot of people. And some doctors, the three that you mentioned, and they’re great, but there are tens of thousands of doctors in the United States and why aren’t they standing up and saying oh my gosh I’m so sorry, I can’t believe I recommended it.”
