Bannon’s War Room Show: Murdoch and Fox Accused of Illegal Practices

Stephen K. Bannon, in a recent episode of his War Room television show, launched a scathing attack on Rupert Murdoch and his Fox empire, labeling them as “foreigners” and “bad people.”

Bannon implied that Murdoch flouted immigration rules to acquire the network, suggesting that Murdoch adjusted his citizenship status amid attempts to purchase Fox Broadcasting. Bannon accused Murdoch of engaging in illegal practices to secure ownership of the network, stating, “You’re supposed to be an American citizen. Well, they took care of that so he could buy it. It was completely illegal, completely bought foreign.”

Bannon further criticized Murdoch and Fox, describing them as “neo-liberal neocons” who support the concentration of wealth in the nation. He accused Murdoch’s billionaire family of prioritizing their own interests over those of the United States, viewing the country solely as a market for their media assets.

Specifically, Bannon alleged that Fox’s ownership of a television network was illegal, emphasizing Murdoch’s foreign status and implying nefarious intentions behind the network’s operations.
