Thousands of students from 67 universities gathered at the University of Arkansas to participate in a revival.
An estimated 10,000 students attended the service.
The organization hosting the service, Unite US, wrote on Instagram, “Jesus met us there.”
“We were blown away by His presence in the room and how it carried over to baptisms,” the ministry said. “It was a night we’ll never forget.”
CBN News reported that revivals have also swept across the University of South Carolina, Texas A&M University in Corpus Christi, and Ohio State University.
The revival at Ohio State University was led by several football players and attracted between 8,000 and 1,000 people.
Former OSU wide receiver Kamryn Babb told service attendees that he felt the “weight, the love, the grace, the mercy of God wrap [him] like a blanket” as his Uber driver prayed for him on his way to the John Glenn Columbus International Airport.
“I was just doing my thing because it was fun, and I’ll tell you this: I was on High Street, and I enjoyed it,” Babb said. “I had fun. But at the same time, I didn’t recognize my condition. I was spiritually dead. I could go out there, and I could smile and laugh … but on the inside, I was broken.”
Service attendees later joined the players on stage to pray. Others wanted to be baptized.
