California Parents Gather to Protest Children’s Gender Transitions, Indoctrination

Hundreds of California parents gathered last weekend in Los Angeles to stand against the infringement of parental rights as children undergo secret gender transitions in public schools.

The event, called “Time to Stand,” was held at Glory Church.

One of the highlights of the event was the introduction of the Protect Kids California Act.

The act will “require parent notification from schools; protect girls sports;” and “prevent child sterilization,” according to the act’s website.

The event comes as educators across the United States are intentionally keeping information regarding a child’s gender identity.

In September, Parents Defending Education published a list of over 1,000 school districts across the country that “openly state that district personnel can or should keep a student’s transgender status hidden from parents.”

A member of Rhode Island’s North Kingstown School District suggested schools should “never” inform parents of their child’s gender identity struggles.

“On parental right to information, I don’t think parents should be notified,” the individual said. “Simply because society assumes that every child has a well-meaning family. Sometimes the worst thing you can do is involve the parent into some of these issues, based on their own beliefs and their own cultures, and that will cause that student to commit suicide.”
