California Megachurch Pastor Partners With Clay Clark’s Reawaken America Tour

(Charisma News) As a pastor of a large Southern California church, experiencing the strains of government overreach during the COVID pandemic, Phil Hotsenpiller responded by preaching Sunday sermons related to the Constitution from a biblical worldview.

These sermons were well received, and it seemed worthy to establish a website where more people could benefit. Considering Hotsenpiller’s extensive list of media credits—which include articles and op-eds published on Charisma News, Fox News, The Washington Post, CNN and more—it inspired the idea of creating a website where his pertinent articles and the sermons could be accessed. Thus, American Faith was born.

“News You Can Trust” is the banner for American Faith, where both original and curated articles on topics of politics, faith, health, opinion and business are published.

“Because we carefully vet all the articles we curate for accuracy, and our writers must adhere to rigid criteria, ‘News You Can Trust’ is a claim we confidently make,” Hotsenpiller said.

Based on the estimated quarter of a million views, a database of 1.2 million, and the website having an open rate of 60% and a click-through rate of 35%, it seems American Faith‘s quick, sharp and crisp model is coveted.

“Our staff reads articles looking for a fair shake regarding conservative values instead of solely promoting negative left-wing agenda,” Hotsenpiller said. “And as a non-partisan organization we don’t endorse any political candidates.”

Endorsing the impact of Clay Clark’s Reawaken America Tour is another matter, however.

Hotsenpiller is a highly accomplished individual who is also known as an executive adviser and a cultural thought leader. He serves as president of the New York Executive Coaching Group. Since Clay Clark’s main thrust is helping business owners through his coaching program, it was natural for Clark to invite Hotsenpiller to be interviewed on hisThrive Time Show business podcast.

Like Hotsenpiller, Clark shares concern over the direction of our nation. In June 2021, Clark produced what was then called the Health and Freedom Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Gen. Michael Flynn was featured. The event was such a success Clark knew he wanted to do more.

At Flynn’s suggestion, the tour was renamed to Reawaken America. Clark reached out to Hotsenpiller again, but this time with the inquiry for him to host an event at his church, Influence Church, in Anaheim, California.

“When Clay called, I said ‘Yeah’ right away without really knowing what it would require,” Hotsenpiller said. “Having 40 speakers over a two-day event means there are a lot of moving parts. I soon discovered I only knew half of what it would take when I agreed.”

Not that Hotsenpiller has any regrets.

When asked what his goals are for hosting the event, Hotsenpiller said, “I want to give people an opportunity to hear the truth from different perspectives and experience the people they see, hear and follow, up close and personal. I want people to experience the synergy that uniquely occurs at live events.”

While the July 17-18 event will be streamed live to an estimated 7 million viewers, based on the live event selling out weeks ahead of time, it seems many people want the personal experience.

Hotsenpiller’s goal for the event is to encourage people to get involved in local politics and school boards.

“We get upset about national issues, and well we should. But real change happens on the local level,” Hotsenpiller says. “People need to run for office or show up to key meetings. And never underestimate the impact you can make. It is proven in California; the counties with good local government have no state government overreach.”

Hotsenpiller encourages people to share the American Faith website and tell people about the Reawaken America Tour live streaming on thrivetimeshow.com/ to help people become aware of these avenues for becoming informed and engaged in making a difference. Live streaming of the sold-out Anaheim event will also be available on Brighteon.com and SteelTruth.com.

The event runs from noon until 8:00 p.m. on both July 17 and 18, 2021.

“One thing that has been overlooked is freedom of speech,” Hotsenpiller said. “We’ll definitely be exercising that right at the event. Not every speaker is a Christian, but every point of view is worth hearing. I hope people tune in to see if it’s a fit for them. It’s not for everyone, but it is definitely for a lot of people given the tremendous response we’ve received.”
